Cooking (and then naturally eating) is a passion of mine. I have been cooking since I was about 10 years old (I’m now 25). I like to think there is nothing I can’t cook, but secretly I know that is not the case. I work by day in Western Sydney as an engineer. I find myself thinking about food an awful lot during work time, maybe at the detriment of my performance. I also enjoy road bike riding, the violin and watching sports (I think this trait must be genetic).
I have started this blog as a way to record my cooking adventures. I usually type my recipes into the computer for later so I figured I may as well share them for all to enjoy. I am not sure what my favourite food is but I have a definite soft spot for French and Italian cuisine. My goal is be able to walk into a market with no recipe in mind and be able to construct a menu at will sourcing only the freshest in produce.
I have admired many other local food bloggers for a long time so from time to time I will probably borrow and adapt their recipes. I will always give credit for my inspiration (slash copied) recipe and please consider it a compliment.
I hope you all enjoy my cooking

Mark,
Yeah, engineers seriously can adapt a seemingly unrelated kitchen item for a new purpose. You cook well. Keep it up. I’ll check back often!
